Hello-
I came to zbrush from mudbox and have come up against some challenges that I can’t figure out.
Does anyone know if there are any video tutorials out there that show the entire process of preparing a model for export as an obj? Including materials?
The Goz plugin does not work for me because my models are too high in polycount.
My models tend to be between 250,000 and 500,000 polygons even after decimation.
I would like to retain the details and still be able to export to other programs. I understand that there are methods involving creating texture maps, UV maps, and normal maps and projecting higher resolution information onto lower resolution models . I have seen tutorials that explain parts of this process, but I have not been able to find any tutorials that explain the process from start to finish and I have yet to succeed at exporting a model at a decent resolution.
