Pregnant Alien wip(s)(NUDITY WARNING)

been working on the old man for a bit…mainly the shirt/coat and shirt collar…grrrr…

Don’t ask me why, but the though of a pregnant woman was in my mind’s eye for whatever unknown reason tonight…this is as far as I have gotten with her…the head is seperate as is the bonnet and cape…just some doodling I guess…but I want to take the female image a bit farther.

btw…so far the Xbox 360 game…“Dead Rising” is very kewl and funny. I don’t play games really but my son was all over that game last night. We celebrated Christmas yesterday due to scheduling over the holidays…so he was delighted to get his new game system and the game…to me and for him, it was worth the 60 bux. Wonder if any of the zombies etc was done in zbrush or by any of our members here on the forum?

Hormonal Alien… :slight_smile: Wanted to play a bit with the torso…gave her and alien head, boots, hands and the wierd arms…(junk model pieces on file)

For some reason that woman makes me think of ‘the Cell’ movie,
it probably reminds the muscular woman, if you remember… good work, keep going.
I haven’t watched any zscripts these days or doing much in z because ‘real-world-things’ started kicking in, I hate that
Ron, Christmas already acctually I got christmas present too: Slipknot DVD Voliminal, very good… (In stores NOW!).
Never tried Dead Rising, or anything other on Xbox, but I bought Doom 3, man some creatures are awesome!

GL, thnx…yeah I do see where there might be Cell influences in this. Loved that movie. My daughter loves Slipknot. She is slowly bring me up to speed in the music department…lol…I feel hip now when I listen to Korn or Manson. :smiley: (Ron is so so far behind the times…)

Panstar, your wish is my command, my friend.:+1: When I get back from vacation I will revisit this piece and work more on it. I liked it as well, better than the others.

My inspiration for making pregnant women (not making women pregnant :slight_smile: ) is all Rick Baker’s fault…Though I think child birth etc. is a beautiful thing and women have that glow and look in their faces…Rick scared me as a child with his Davis baby, in the movie “It’s Alive”. That started my inner fantasy fears about pregnant ladies. Then add later on down the line the Alien movies with the chest burstings…well babies are so alien to begin with in an artistic way…and they make for interesting subjects in my opinion.

And love making while the baby is active in the womb, well that is another ball of wax…needless to say the aforementioned always came to mind during those sessions…lol…When my wife had her ultra sounds and I saw the pics of the baby (s) I told her she was having an alien…lol she didn’t appreciate my humor…ok…too much info and I am rambling…

You two have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year’s .

One of the bands on the knees didn’t stretch out as far as I thought it did…fresh eyes pick up the mistakes quite readily…:o

Truly like the concept here Ron, and it works really well with the mono shading. I would say to add a bit more detail to the hands, and clean the edges up up around the finger nails, and you got a winner here.

So your getting into slipknot!! can’t beat a good bit of rock.
Why don’t you check out this band, who I’ve been working with latley www.sanguineband.com Just lock up your Dolls.

Oooo … that’s really impressive work! You and Andreseloy have been the greatest inspiration to me this year … you’ve both kept plugging away, clearly improving your skills with each post … and now look at you! Excellent modeling, great presentation, and a wonderful concept. Kudos! :+1:

Ron, The hands holding the pregnant girl is very touching! It would make a nice physical sculpture! The hands are really well done. It’s cool to see your softer side…:lol:

I was just thinking of you the other day. I picked up a Nintendo Wii about a month ago and got The Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess to play on it. There is fishing in the game, both bobber and fly fishing, where you use the controller to cast the line out. You then move the controller a little bit to make the lure zig-zag, to attract the fish. Once a fish takes the bait, you snap the cotroller back to hook him and then twirl the second controller in the air next to the main controller to reel the fish in. It feels very much like real fishing.

If you have a buddy who has a Wii and Zelda, you have to try it out…:smiley:

Also, if you have the time, I highly recommend Monster Island and Monster Nation by David Wellington. Two very interesting zombie novels that are a blast to read. Wellington has a very different take on the zombie genre and there are some cool twists in the books.
