Hope to finsih the rest soon:)
Wait now, noo that’s not a ZBrush model is it ?! it looks as real as the real latex mask to me. Damn beautiful job! you get 10 points from me

Thanks Max!,it`s the vray render engine its very good and very fast
i plan to render this whit scattering also ,thanks!
i bet you used reference materials! i really like the way the head looks like you have used a turtle shell as reference and the red mouth with its funny bits err reminds me of a woman i dated
All textures where painted in zbrush using some alphas that y found on the net,the part that i need to repaint it`s the forehead,as you can see a lot of scretching is in that area.
A guy sendme some pics of the predator to see where the diferents paterns of the head are.
At first i want to use those references as tecture but i can paint displace folowwing the color so i end up doing it all in zbrush looking very closely to the refernces
Zbrush rocks!!!,i love to have no scretching in textures at all
PS:hope you don`t put anythig in that mouth if look like the predator:lol:
How did you learn to paint in zbrush if you don’t mind me asking, i really like how the colors blend in with each other, look really nice, did you use any tutorials? I have ZB2 as well but i can’t paint to get colors to look so nice like that.
I see some tutorial about a guy how did a dino skin ,i think that it`s in some placein the forum.
I paint in layers first a base color the you add darker and darker strokes
all like modelling starting whit low intestity rbg valvues of the chosen color so gradually you start top add intensities.
for the base skin i use the colorized spray.it work with 2 colours so it give you sort of randomnes.when the base color ise ready whit darker and lighter areas (darker in cavities and lighter in fore head for example).
Ill pass to detail the spots and other stuff.
the only bad part its that i don
t fine any option like photoshop to work in layers:( ,anyone know how?
Here it`s and old render , i put more detail in the skin doing the tutorial
very nice predator! btw, there are layers in zbrush but are a bit different from the layers you’re used to in photoshop; check out this link: zbrush layers
YOUR PREDATOR IS THE BEST I HAVE SEEN !!!
only a thing, he seams to be a little to slim…maybe it’s only my point of view.
great work, man !
Excellent model. I LOVE the painting. Nice wrinkles too…
Dickie
Thanks for explaining george, i will keep trying to learn and practice.
Great work!
The colors are excellent. I see I have a lot to learn!

Thanks vivien for the link, but i will like that in future realeases of zbrush layers like in photohsop so you can store like a document all the diferent layers.
i cant get very confort doing things that i can correct later
Im working in the equipment now,big modelling time, hope to finish all soon
Here it`s the link of the alpha brushes

Sorry for mi English

That is a beautiful model. Only suggestion is to add some randomness or other shapes to the dark stripe running down the centre of the head. It looks a little repetitive with the zbrush default alpha. Gorgeous render, I hope v-ray is ported to other platforms at some point.
Thanks!,just a guy ask me what tutorial i have read for painting,it`s yours!
Thanks for the tip!
Scary very nice man i like it i like it allot
Hi again, it’s me hehe
I just wanted to ask if you could post a shaded greyscale screenshot and also a wireframe from within Zbrush 2, just for reference so i can see…
Thanks in advance.
