Possible to transfer details from one mesh to an entirely different mesh?

Hey guys,
I have a scuplt of male face, and I would like to transfer some of the skin details of the face onto an entirely different sculpt (i.e., not just a lo-res version of the same sculpt).

I know it is possible to transfer details from a high res sculpt to a lo-res version of the same scuplt (using morph target for example). But this requires the same vertex order. I am looking to just take some surface details on one face and “paint” it on to another face.

Just a wild guess: Is there perhaps a way to create an alpha brush of the source details somehow?

Thanks for any tips in this,

-P

Do you mean you’re trying to transfer just the details, or the overall form?

Use project all to just transfer one mesh to another. If you need to do more than that, then you’re in for a super fun process…

BC,
Thanks for the response. I do not need to transfer the overall form, since they are two different faces. I am just needing the surface details (like creases, pores, etc.).

It is my understanding that using “project all” requires similar overall form (almost identical actually). Since my two models are different characters, with different facial features, I do not think project all will work in my case, will it?.. unless there is some setting that I can tweak that I am not aware of?
