Possible to match camera between Maya and Zbrush?

Hi once again,

I have been now able to load image planes in zBrush

But now I’ve spent some hours, trying to match a certain camera between ZBrush and Maya.

Is there maybe any way?

I did not find informations covering that, just about FOV.
But also FOV does not match exactly in my case. I also played with different canvas size, but this did not solve it.

The tools for camera fine control are quite rough, too. Or maybe I oversaw something?

Many thanks…

The FoV slider will likely be your best bet. I doubt you’re going to create a perfect match since Zbrush doesn’t actually have a camera. What you see is Zbrush is a model floating in space above an image document/painting canvas similar to Photoshop. When you’re sculpting you’re not inside a full 3d environment orbiting a virtual camera around a model like in Maya, you’re actually rotating and scaling the orientation of the model itself as it floats above the document.

Hi Cyrid,

THX for clearance and good to know ;))
