Possible bug with VDM brushes in 2021

Hi,
I noticed some things since 2021:

  • Brushes made in 2021 are not compatible with previous versions (2019 for example). Is this ok? Or is it a bug?

  • In the case of VDM brushes, a strange problem happens, that didn’t happen in 2019.
The problem is that sometimes when a VDM brush is selected, and you inmmediately use another VDM brush, the alpha seems to change in the thumbnail, but it keeps drawing the previous one.
It doesn’t happen all the time, but very often.
The only way to avoid the bug is to change the alpha to the default square, and then reload the brush. But doing this is very annoying all the time.
    In 2019 it didn’t happen.

Does anyone have suffered this problem? Is there a way of avoiding it or a reason for it to happen?
I have sent a bug report with diagnosis test. Hope it helps.

Thank you.
