Positioning Fiber?

Okay,
This should be my last question until I finish my image.
I mentioned in This Forum that I was creating a 3-D version of one of my chearcters (from my Xbox game). All I have to do at this point is add the fur. Here is my question.

—> Is there a way to rotaite fibers (fiber brush) so the fibers are pointing down (like my a Collie’s fur) instead of sticking straight out of an object?

I could try the Hair tut. But I want it to look like fur, not hair. So that tut is out. If anyone could post a VERY basic Zscript that only shows the main idea, I’ll be greatly appriciated. Thank you.
