No texture xyz maps used everything was done manually in zbrush or blender. Each render is about 3k resolution. In zbrush I used hd geometry subdivide to 140 million polys and than exported out to 5 udims.
Head has like 8k x 5 maps on multiple textures. Ended up using like 9 gigs of vram to render. This took me 8 months but I didn’t have much time to work directly on it at once. So spread out when I had freetime. Norman Rockwell is a favorite artist of mine so I wanted to do the best tribute I could to him. . Only asset I used was some textures from texture .com for the clothes and pipe, and the bowtie was partially made from epic clothing bundle for blender. I had to double it, unwrap it the way I wanted and sculpt to match though.
