Portrait of Caracalla

I am currently in an Art history class and one of our project was to re-create or create something similar to our favorite artwork in the art text required for the class (like…150$… seriously wtf?). So I attempted to recreate Caracalla for the project. I spent about 2 hours on it? nothing great but nothing terrible. I tried for some likeness but it never really looked like it all that much.

Hope you all like it. I attached the real sculpture for reference.

Elixir, the ears were destroyed in the original sculpture. But, You’re right the ears damage does not accurately resemble the original marble sculpt.
