Polyheim's Sketchbook

There are so many awesome artists here, it’s a bit intimidating to post my work. But I finally gathered the courage to make a sketchbook here. Wish me luck!

For my first piece, I made an anatomy study to start the day.

Today’s character exploration warm-up.

Hello! Here’s another character exploration sculpt. I was trying to go for something more scifi-ish this time around.

I’m trying to make more studies of complex poses

Refreshing to just see form and volume. Keep going

It’s great to hear. Thank you @Jaime ^^

This is my first attempt sculpting a wolf. This was a great way to practice sculpting hair.

Trying out new brushes and materials. So I made this chonky tiger. I was going for a traditional clay look.

Thanks for the encouragement @Jaime ^^

I had fun sculpting these rocks. I can’t say I’ve sculpted them like this before. Usually I would make a displacement map instead. It was fun tho.

Welcome to the community. So great to see the various items you’ve been sculpting. Love the hair sculpting test you did.

Thank you! @PixoPaul  I’m glad you think so. I’m treating this thread as ‘real sketchbook’, so I’ll be posting a bit of everything.

Awesome. Keep it coming.
