Polygroups not colored?

Haven’t had this issue before…
But I’m sorting a character into Polygroups and the color isn’t changing.
What’s odd is that the function is working, I mean, the group IS created and is functional.
But I’d like to get those colors working since I’ve got quite a few groups to create.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance to anyone.

—Nevermind, I’m an idiot. Found the issue.

Can you post the solution please? It might help others later on.

The solution was so simple, I can’t believe I posted the question…

If you can’t see the polygroup colors as you make them,
“SHIFT + F” or click the “Draw Polyframe” icon in your right side (vertical) toolbar.

Now the explanation of why I couldn’t find this, and/or why you might not easily find it:
If you’re not on a large screen, you may not be able to see the tool icon.
So if you’ve disabled it during, oh…let’s say a tutorial… yeah, let’s say that…
but failed to switch it back on… you might have this issue.

“SHIFT + F” works as well though.

Hope this helps someone avoid looking all over Google only to find nothing on this subject. LOL

But how where you doing it before? I mean, SHIFT + F is the default shortcut for Polyframe (or clicking the Polyframe icon). I’m wondering how you were doing it before you discovered that?

The setting was working…
I went through some training (by Gnomon, cannot recommend their stuff enough) and failed to put the settings back.

Work came up…
stopped using ZBrush for a couple weeks, forgot that I’d changed settings.
WHAMMO, problem.

Like I stated earlier, I’m an idiot. LOL

Just to add that there are now (since 4R7) two settings within the Polyframe button - Line for showing the wireframe and Fill for showing the polygroup colors. You can toggle each on/off by clicking the word.

This help me a lot!! Thanks for sharing
