I had an idea for a plugin and I’m wondering how feasible this is.
First, I love the transpose tool, but its more dynamic for me to export the lowest polygon level of my project in Maya, rig it, and pose it as I see fit, then import back to Zbrush and move the sub level up. You get the benefits of Ik and other tools, without having to go crazy painting weights when you can just smooth and edit in Zbrush.
Now, I was thinking, say I had a 24 frame animation, would it be possible to create a script to go to lowest level, create new layer, import, subD back up, Render out an image, rinse and repeat?
It would be a nice way to retain all your detail in an animaton without messing with Normal Maps and Displacements using Zbrushes nice shading techniques.
