ZR7 looks really interesting to me. But every version of Zbrush’s UI I’ve seen I’ve hated. 2: I would like to try Zbrush before I would decide to buy it for 700$ . Because I would like to actually be very good at it before I bought it, and know it in and out. I feel like by the time I would learn R7 Zbrush 5 would come out and I would have to rebuy it. Autodesk has free trials for all their products, why can’t Zbrush? Even a educational license for say 50$ but you can’t export the models to model format like obj would be nice. It takes a lot of hard work to learn software now days, I don’t think you should have to pay up the ying yang for it until you know it well and are making money selling models, just a learning edition (NOT sculptris) would be very good.
Good luck with that. Lots of models available now as well as lots of people making them; why are yours better? You’ve seen the UI and hate it? You could watch videos without buying the program to see if it might be a fit for you. I’ve been using it over 2 years, don’t know all of it’s features through and through yet(nor needed to use them). Hard to beat a free price on other softwares you can use to create. End rant.
