do u plan well before u make artworks in zb? Perhaps sketch or only visualize them in ur mind? I usually happens to me that the final work is quite different from what I planned it to be.
Just thought of a better one when I was doing it. So the stytles change a great deal. How about u, Iām wondering?
ā¦surely as many plans as numbers of zbrushers
Mine is ānot more ten minutes from beginning to the endā! Live is too short!
Conception / realisation
Zbrush can do that and that is what I love Zbrush

Good question. I do alot of sketching when I am not at the computer on paper. Alot of those sketches give me ideas for z works, but there are times when I really want to adhere to a sketch and will scan the image and import it into Z as a backdrop for scene placement/setup or I may have made a monster or something and put it on itās own layer to stay true to the drawing. There are more times though that I just doodle about in z and allow the image to take itās own form and life. Since I do mostly head and bust shots of my creatures and people I tend to let the model unfold on itās own, though there are times the inspirational idea is already in my mind from something I have seen or drawn. I guess overall it depends the mood I am in and what level I want the final piece to be.

None of my models come out how I planned
The Zbrush tools always inspire me , and I end up doodleing ā¦
I love Zbrush, I can use it for concept art, and for the final model and textureingā¦
Best money I ever spent :)
I use a combination of sketching and visualizing.
Sometimes, my work changes as I am ZBrushing it,
so I make adjustments as I go.
