Placing 3D Gizmo deletes all subtools except current one

Hello.I have a question about the 3D Gizmo. When I Alt-Rightclick where I want the gizmo to go, it does it, but at the same time it deletes every one of my subtools except for the current one. How can I get around this?

I forgot to mention that the manual does not say to use the Alt-key when repositioning the Gizmo, but I could not get it to reposition WITHOUT the Alt-key.

Forget it, I solved it. Whenever I reposition the 3D Gizmo, the subtool list scrolls all the way to the bottom, making it APPEAR as if the other subtools have been deleted.

Sorry for the newb question.
