The soon to be released, RenderMan Pro Server 15.0 and related products support Per-Face Texture Mapping in the new texture format: Ptex.
- Does this have any impact on the Zbrush production pipeline?
- Will Pixologic implement Walt Disney Animation Studios Ptex, texture format?
- Will renderers support ‘Per Polygon Painting’? <- (does this even relate?)
Perhaps a smart person could shed some light on the implications of this development in conjunction with Zbrush.
