'Picking' Polygroup in 'PolyGroup' Action not working ?

I am following what the manual is saying

1. Select the PolyGroup Action
2. Select the A Single Poly Target
3. Hover over a polygon belonging to the desired PolyGroup.
4. While clicking and holding on this polygon, press (or tap) the Shift key. ZBrush
will copy the clicked polygon’s PolyGroup. Release the click.
5. Now click on another polygon to paste the PolyGroup.

But I can’t seem to copy a polygroup over. I tried different modifiers as well, no joy.

4. While clicking and holding on this polygon, press (or tap) the Shift key. ZBrush
will copy the clicked polygon’s PolyGroup. Release the click.

This is important. First, you need to click on the polygon and hold down the mouse button. The polygon will change color. Then, while still holding down the mouse, click and release the Shift key and the color will revert to the original. Now the polygroup is stored and clicking on a different polygon will change that polygon to the stored polygroup.

For Modifiers you need Overwrite annd Full Coverage. With the Pick Existing modifier turned on, simply clicking on a polygon will store the polygroup. You would then need to switch back to Overwrite before you could apply that to other polygons.

Gotcha, thanks Marcus. All working
