Piccolo

Hello!
I am an artist in Japan.
I just purchased ZBrush today, and this is my first work created with ZBrush.

I sculpted a human head from a sphere, then added few details and color to make it into “Piccolo” from the animation, “Dragon Ball Z.”
This is my first attempt in making a “realistic” figure from a Japanese animation character, and also my first work in ZBrush.

I still got lots to learn about ZBrush!

great start, welcome to the zbrush experince! i think you will find that this fourm is one of the better ones =).

keep up the good work

Thank you!

I am having a lot fun using this tool, and I feel the great potential for more!

I will keep working on ZBrush!

SO-1,

Welcome to zbc, ahh DBZ gotta love it. Funny I had thought at some point I might play around with doing a piccolo and a few other of its characters but never got around to it. Curious where you will take this one. Looks like a good start, are you going to make em more realistic like or stylized as in the anime? Will check back and see how your doing, keep working hard :+1: :+1: .

Thank you for your comment!

Thought that “Piccolo” might be the easiest one to make amongst many characters in DBZ, reason being that he is an alien

I still haven’t touched Zspheres and subtools, so I might want to work with those first.
Eventually, I would want to sculp his whole body and the costume.

Thanks, and please come back for updates!

Wow I’d never thought to see this  . I haven’t seen anything from DragonBallZ in years!! Good times back in the day.:+1:

nice head, not bad for first time.

Hello Shadowscheme!
Thanx for the comment:)

I was practicing Zbrush by sculpting a human head from a sphere, and then all of sudden, “Piccolo” came to my mind for some strange reason.
This was a good practice for me to test the sculpting and the coloring of Zbrush.
I will see if I can work my way into creating the body for him.

Hi Rodeon!
Thanks for the comment.

This is my first step into Zbrush.
I feel the potential for a lot more!
I am looking forward to working more with this software!
