Photoshop Cs3 & Zbrush

Hi.

I recently upgraded to CS3 and when I open the program I can only display one image at a time. I seem unable to tile a series of images. Each new open file closes the previous open file. Also, I have a dual monitor set-up. How can I get an image in CS3 to appear on my second monitor as reference while I work on my primary monitor in ZBrush? Thoughts?

Thanks!

Are you sure the newest window isn’t simply covering the previous?

Edit: We are talking about seperate images right, not something to do with only being able to have only 1 3d layer or something like that?

Twitch,

I’m not sure. In CS2 it was easy to tell, every image was framed and you could see the frame edges and select accordingly. In CS3, all I get is the one image totally surrounded by a grey workspace with no indication of other open files. Am I missing some critical preference setting? I’ve posted an image of the workspace. Also, did you see my question about the dual monitor set-up? And listen, I really appreciate your attention and quick response. That is what makes the ZBrush forum community so outstanding.

Thanks!

hi!

if you`re not sure, you should try the “F” key on your keyboard to switch between the different view in ps cs3.

just a guess…

chem!

You need to hit the restore button (the two overlapping boxes) under the restore button in the main window. That’ll get it out of maximize.

Edit: Chem’s method is actually a nice shortcut to do the same thing, but you’ll probably have to go through a few other views before you get back to the default.
