hi, why when i’ve changed my document size, the perspective view(with dynamic disabled) will change sooooooo much too? i like that view for my project with dynamic disabled because that view ranges with dynamic enabled is so limited and i dont like to use them, anyone can help?
Hello @Evopsy,
You may need to elaborate a bit more. Neither the focal length or the field of view changes as a result of resizing the document. However, the position of the mesh may change relative to the camera. This would result in a change of appearance.
A couple things that may be useful:
-
You can store a camera with the Universal Camera feature and return to it any time. This should maintain the view no matter the size of your document.
-
If you disable the Universal Camera feature in the Draw Palette, and enable the “Align to Object” feature (only useable with the legacy camera), the perspective on the object will no longer shift as it is moved away from the center of the canvas. It will still have perspective distortion, but that perspective will be calculated as if it is centered no matter where on the canvas it is moved.
Good luck!
