whats up people i just wanted to know is it possible to import my pepakura into zbrush if so how do you do it cuz if its possible that would be neat that means i can laser all my pepakura i have instead of cuttin each peace out one by one
Zbrush can input and output in OBJ format.
OBJ format can be converted to just about any other 3D format using various conversion software that is available.
As for getting an actual Pepakura creation into Zbrush, that would be hard to do. The reason is, looking at the specs on it, it appears that Pepakura can only output for a printer. Right?
So I guess you’d have to print it out, cut it out, glue it together and then take that real life object and run it through a 3D scanner, that would then let you convert from a point cloud to a OBJ.
On the other hand, you might not know what Zbrush does. Zbrush is more of a software for making things inside of it and then the output is purely digital. Whereas, it sounds like you want to cut your patterns out using a laser?
If so, then what you’d be looking for is software called CAM software. CAM stands for Computer Aided Manufacturing.
If you do a Google search on CAM, you can find some forums like this one but for CAM software and then I’m sure someone will be able to direct you as to how to get your Pepakura patterns laser cut. =)

I just read your other post and I think I know what you mean by, “laser out.”
I think you mean you want to make real life models of your Pepakura creations. Right?
Problem is, from what I read, Pepakura will only output for a printer that’s made for printing on paper.
Whereas, you want to get your creations printed in 3D on a 3D printer! Right?
I’ve never heard of it as being called laser out, BUT THAT’S A COOL NAME FOR IT! =D
The technical term for it is called RP or Rapid Prototyping.
Sadly tho, unless Pepakura comes out with some other output options, I’m afraid you’re gonna have to stick with making your Pepakura creations out of paper.
That’s a cool program by the way! I didn’t know about Pepakura, I might even get it and make somthing cool out of paper.
