I had a lot of fun with this one. I could have gone into more detail on the props, but it’s already taken a long time and I wanted to move on.

So for the background, I’m creating a universe in which all my creations are connected, based on body horror mixed with mythological / pagan inspirations. So there, it’s a simple merchant, but to be consistent with the rest, his own body becomes his shop. For the props, it’s often the same elements that I bring back. Coins, charms, fingers. I often use coins, I like the “Charon” symbolic, the coins on the eyes of the dead, etc. I’m not very good at props, so I treat it more as a secondary detail, to enhance the mood.
So, he’s not a major character in the universe I’m creating, but he’s part of it.
