"Peace"

Hello friends!!This my latest sculpt “Peace”

Conflicts always leaves us in pieces. But solving conflicts through dialogue, education and other humane ways will bring us Peace.

This digital art of mine is an embodiment of this sentiment. Many pieces of corrugated paper come together, and with a little bit of adjustment, harmonize to pay homage to one of the most unifying personalities in the world.

Not to mention, the words at the beginning of this post is from one of the Dalai Lama’s take on peace.

“Peace does not mean an absence of conflicts; differences will always be there. Peace means solving these differences through peaceful means; through dialogue, education, knowledge; and through humane ways.” Dalai Lama

Hi all this is the process i fallowed to achieve my latest sculpt “Peace”

  1. sculpted the base head using default zbrush head for rough base .
  2. created two versions of micropoly mesh to achieve paper corrugated feel.
  3. using zsphere create different planes.
  4. convert zsphere into planes using unified skins.
  5. once i was satisfied with the planes,i used micropoly and created variation.
  6. gave thickness to micropoly and welded the mesh.
  7. created corrugated thick frames according to the face as base.
  8. with mentioned above process i covered the face with combination of plane to get the desired result
    process
  9. to get natural torn paper look i use sculpture pro to get the desire look and rendered in key-shot

I love this–thank you for posting the breakdowns of your process :+1:
