Hi guys.
I’m following this online course for zbrush and we are going to use Zapp Link which looks really amazing. Today also I saw the 3dprint exporter plugin and the decimation master which all are pc based. Unfortunately I have a mac license. Can I use a pc license as well in order to work with those plugins?
I certainly hope so…
Mac versions of the plugins are going to be released within 30 days.
Hey aurick.
How about zapp link?
I’m following a course and I would really like to use it.
Just a little update on my situation.
I’ve sent a mail to the pixologic support team asking for a temporary pc license till the end of june when my course ends.
I was amazed by their inflexibility to provide such a simple thing especially when they are the ones responsible for this situation.
I’m not talking about the 2 new plugins but the zapplink one, which is in a “coming soon” state for the past 6 months.
This is no way to treat a customer. I bet if I was a well known artist that wouldn’t be an issue but now, it’s a whole different story.
For one more time pixologic has managed to dissapoint. As I said in my last email to their support team:
“You’re exploiting and mistreating your customers and I’m sure really soon it’s going to backfire.”
If that includes zapp link I would be very happy. Was beginning to give up.
The 30 day time is only relevant to the two new plugins.
Richard
Why not download the pc trial version for now?
I’m sorry to hear that. Was that information posted elsewhere?
It’s really disappointing to hear that they don’t really care about their customers.
They told me that the zapplink plugin is going to be released soon. But it is in this “soon” state for the past 6 months.
They’re not even mentioning a reason for not issuing a number. Just that, sorry we can’t issue a pc license. Simple as that.
Not the best way to do business in my opinion.
