Greetings,

I just purchased ZBrush Core as well as a HUION 16"4K display tablet. I am sharing my PC and GPU specs to see if this is enough to run zbrush efficiently. I want to make sure my learning curve and issue I encounter are not due to hardware.

Hello @JodeeB ,

Your specs meet or exceed the recommended system specs for ZBrush.

Additional concerns:

  • Drive space. 100GB of free space is recommended for the drive ZBrush’s scratch disk is located on. This would be in addition to space needed for file storage and any space taken up by the OS. Note that files containing models with multiple millions of polygons can contain gigabytes of data.

  • Cooling. ZBrush is a demanding app that will stress your CPU for extended periods of time. If your device is not able to sustain the operation of the CPU under heavy load, it may throttle the performance of the CPU which will directly impact ZBrush performance.
