Paper

While working on two pieces of mine, Ive stumbled along the same problem: I don’t know how to make paper. More specifically, Paper money. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

David

How about using the Plane3D tool? You can set the basic width/height ration in the Tool:Modifiers:Intialize sub-palette. Then, using the Transform Palette you can make it wavy or crumbled, like paper. (And of course texture it with money or whatever.)

For paper, it would probably be best to start of with the Plane3D tool. You can use the resize the plane along 1 axis in the deformation pallette, say the x axis for example to get the proportions closer to paper money. You can import whatever texture you are going to use for the money into the texture pallette and then apply that texture to the plane.

You can use the edit/transform pallette if you want to have some of the corners bent, or whatever.

I hope this helped answer your question.

asking for the perfecto hints for counterfeiting, hmm? take care nobody is watching you when scanning them $$$$

For crinkles and wrinkles, try using the alpha brush 22, at low Z with the simple paint brush and a dark color. This will make great vein-like creases and such if you repeat the stroke (drag rectangle) again and again.

Good Idea Slosh, and the rest of y’all. Uh Oh. Juandel knows my secret!
