Painting on flatten UV

Just wondering if this is possible in ZB, flatten UV and then paint on it, same way like painting in photoshop?

I’m not sure. But maybe with Spotlight. I never tried it.

You can pretty much do everything with the flattened UV’s you can do with any other piece of geometry in Zbrush. Doesn’t always mean you should, but painting would go just fine.

Hello,

I am painting on flat uv to have more control over leather pattern+color. Problem I bumped on to is that after un-flatten all color+sculpt is gone…

There probably is a way of doing it inside ZB but I’ve only ever exported to Photoshop and re-imported it.
