Painting Masks

Hi,

I’m using ZB to make a deformation on only one side of a subdivided box. How can I paint on ONLY one side of the box and not have the mask re-appear on the far side?

I know that the projection master lets you choose double/single sided, but I think this is a separate situation…

TIA

A mask created by the drag-rectangle will appear on both sides. One painted freeform will not.

Also, you can remove the copy from the other side by doing the following:

  1. Invert the mask
  2. Select Alpha 00, rotate the model to the side, and drag a mask over the part that you don’t want masked.
  3. Invert the mask again. You’ll now have only the one side.
