I don’t know a way of locking the Ctrl key (other than sticky tape!).
A couple of things you might try:
If you are using a tablet such as a Wacom then you may be able to set up a pen button to act as the Ctrl key*. Holding this may be easier for you.
You can use polypainting as a mask. Obviously this depends on you not having polypainted your model, though you could save the polypainting as a texture first using the Col>Txr button. For masking, fill your mesh with white (Color:Fill Object) and then paint the mask in black. When you’ve done painting press the Tool:Masking:Mask by Intensity button. You can switch off the polypainting to see the mask by turning off the Tool:Texture:Colorize button - switch the color to white so that you model shows clearly.
*For my Wacom, this option is shown as ‘Modifier’.
Thanks for answering, marcus_civis
Sticky tape was also my alternative if there’s no software way to do this.
Yes i do have a Wacom Tablet but i think that doesn’t solve the problem for me. Even more difficult i think.
I will try your other option, maybe that will work for me.
Another option (which I had not explored before) is to set up Sticky keys in the Windows Accessibility options. This is available for Windows XP, and presumably other Windows versions.
Go to Start> Control Panel> Accessibility Options, then pick the Keyboard tab. Check the Use Sticky Keys option and then click Settings. Set these up how you want but you will probably wish to turn off ‘Turn Sticky Keys off if two keys pressed at once’.

That’s a good idea. This works very well for me! Thanks for your suggestions marcus_civis.
