This is a subconscious story telling.
I have always been suffering from chronic stomach pain. I approached the creation on that creature without noticing that I was actually going through one crisis. My girlfriend made me face it…
I often use opposites to illustrate feelings, pain with roses, and creature as a human’s substitute.
Red stones with animated effects are to illustrate waving pain feelings during a crisis.
Before reading the description i saw the roses as ( sort of ) a beauty/gift of taming the pain and making you grow as a human.
Chronic pain adds exhaustion for the mind, that’s such a b*tch…
Strong piece as always, but still fresh because of the evolution of your work.

Beautiful work! I feel your pain! The expression on this poor creature is so heart-wrenching. He seems so sad and helpless. Have you tried full spectrum CBD oil to help with the inflammation? It does wonders for me. Just a thought.
