Other Apps: How can I export a model with SHARP EDGES so that it renders right?

Each program has its own techniques for handling edge smoothing, and they aren’t directly compatible. For example, if you create a model in ZBrush with creases and wish to export them, you would need to divide the mesh a time or two and export the higher resolution model. However, ZBrush has a very useful feature for creating crisp edges without having to export many polygons. Appropriately enough, it’s called “Crisp” and is built into the Edge Loop command. If you activate the Tool>Geometry>Crisp switch before creating an Edge Loop, the resulting loop of new polygons will be a very narrow band at the edge of the visible area. This band will prevent the edge from being smoothed by any rendering engine, and so is exportable to all software packages.

Very good!!!
