Oscar Gimenez Sketchbook (contains nudity)

(cComposeFinal.jpg Hi all,

This is my first post. I will start with my first model rendered in zbrush. I love Games workshop world and all his art and feeling. So I modelled and Space marine (wow, what an original guy, hehe), but I wanted to pay tribute to all the hours I spent painting figurines and gaming Warhammer in my childhood. In the same manner I wanted to give the model not an ultrarealistic look, either a mix between reallistic and figurine.
Thanks to a lot of artists for inspiration and I hope you like it.

Very awesome modeling and texturing.

Great War40k Pose too.

But I think the Bolter/Pistol could be wider. Its relatively thin compared to most Warhammer 40k Weapons.

Great work zapa!
really cool textures and modeling, fine work

cograts!

Thanks Agasco (cuanto tiempo!) and Der Crow.

An updating of a old char that I have retake in zbrush. It was a surfer boss for a Ngage game, One 2, but it never appeared in the game, sigh. It has a comic like style that I like.

I hope you like it and good zbrushing!

Hi,

This is my new project, Ororo Monroe. Another tribute, this time to one of t X-women, one of the first black female marvel super hero, Storm. I wanted to give her a look more comic like, not like the movie, with all my respects to Halle Berry.
I have just started modelling the head, the hair and hairpin are just wip.

Hope you like it, and look forward your comments.

Hi,

I have started sculpting and posing the body. Maybe I try some different poses. Anyway, I ll go on withe the clothes.

Happy zbrushing

Going on with my project Storm. Here is a new test with some poly`painting without any photoshop retouching in the texture yet. But I like doing some tests like this to see what I must refine or not and to motivate myself.

Enjoy zbrushing

Just an update with the whole model after polypainting (maybe need more on the face). 10% projection 90% handpainted. No shading, yet, I hope in a couple of days have finished the post processing. Hope you like it, well, in fact, just only 2 ppl have posted , so maybe I m talking alone, hehe. Appreciate your comments.

Hi zapa. Nice work. How have you rendered this?

Nice, reminds me of the arcade >_>

Thx mates!

Benhobden, all is rendered in zbrush and composed in Photoshop. I like to do it almost everything in zbrush when I m doing my stills, it´s fast and reliable.

Check this link it was inspiring to me.

CharacterStrip.jpg Hi!
Just another model I made. Thanks to the nice concept, by Rene Acuña. Tomorrow just a little bit of color maybe.

Hope you like it

Cute Devil!

Hi ppl!

Here comes my new model, well, not all new, some pieces I modelled for a game in the past, that never was published. The sweater and the shoes and some part of the body are something old, but the rest is sculpted from scratch.
I dont know if add some more stuff, like headphones, a cap, or elbow protection… maybe you can help me

this is the high poly version, now I need to retopology, mapping and texturing.

Hope you like!

Nice work on the Skater Girl, efficient model, textures. Keep going Oscar!

(PS. check the placement and width of the trucks/wheels), and her shoulder width vs. head size/neck length/ upper body proportions)

Kind regards,
Keridan
