ORC WIP - almost done :D

Hello guys and galls!

As I said before, this is my very first hi-poly model ever (i used to do a lot of low poly before for the gaming industry) and my first experience with z-brush wich I think it’s GREAT…!

I still have a lot of detailing on the head and theeth and eyeballs + hair I’ll ad later in 3D MAX.

I’ll start adding clothing/armour also there and he’ll wear high leather/metal boots.
What do you think about it so far?
I have one question for anyone who might HELP ME :
Do you know any good books/video tutorials/tutorials I might get for facial rigging/animation inside 3dMAX ?

Come on guys, comments pls!

Also if anyone knows any good reffrence material for facial animation/rigging for 3DS Max, I would highly apreciate it if you would share it with me.

Thanks!

Great model. You’ve done a great job with the anatomy. He has a nice sense of weight to him. I think the biceps are a bit too thick, but we all have our own styles. Don’t feel too bad about not having many replies to your post  I’ve posted a few pieces, that never got any replies. people seem to be more interested in finished or near finished artwork before they say much of anything.
As for your query about 3DS Max tutorials, can’t help you there. I’ve never gotten around to using the program.
keep up the great work though.

Excellent modelling!
This looks good already. No real crits as of yet.

As for your rigging question, I’m not a Max user, but a simple google search will help you:

All the best, and keep posting - more people WILL notice,

Jit.

For your nice words guys!

I’ve been working all day today on the face and other details… I’ll soon start texturing and exporting for 3D Max

I’ll keep posting as I work

Hi guys

I’ve been out of town for a couple of days, so today Ill start the texturing process.

Just a quick render using Andro’s Clay material.

Great work Nibiru**** and the anatomy looks spot on. Have you modeled this from zspheres?

As for the lack of people, replying to your post.As meanboythecat and Jit_gohil said people will start to reply. I have had the same response with my current thread “the Sin Eaters” and last thread. I don’t understand it really, you 2-3000 views and only 3-4 people make a comment. it is enought to make you paraniod" Oh maybe thats just me.

N’way keep up the good work and keep posting.

Looking pretty good. The hands might be a touch too small for my tastes but it looks good.

Hi!
Thanks for your few minutes spent on my thread and thank you for your comments and kind words.

I also did notice the hands are a bit small a few days ago, and I will make them larger tonight

I started work on the model in MAX, using basic human proportions, and low muscle mass (quite low poly-work, which I am best at) and then brung it into ZBrush and started sculpting my way to the ProjectionMaster… where I am going to be also tonight.

Some Early Stages and a Back View…

Again, I could use some help on the LipSync :(… and comments
