Here comes the revision:

not bad, but theres room for improvement.

there is alot to be done on this, I think you need to work on getting the anatomical structure clear/correct/believable before putting in the fine details.

hope that helps

the wrinkles are very good

Thanks!! Would you like to spend a few minutes to tell me where I should be working on? I have been staring on the model for too long and I need a third eye to help. Cheers!

 Thanks! What do you mean by “too old”? Can you elaborate?

I would say you should focus on his eyes and eyebrows and get the shape and muscle flow around that area first before you add the winkles on that area… Model him in a neutral face instead of holding up his eye line and eye lids that much. The whole area looks too flat for a realistic human face too, and that the way the nose bridge joins the eyebrow is strange.

the ears should be bigger and longer, and its position should be lower. Use this picture as a general reference on how each part is relate to others:

it doens’t have to be exactly the same, but a general human face will not be far off unless you are really ugly

get rid of his beard and work on the structure of his mouth and jaw first. You are cheating yourself by hiding the detail in that area with displacment maps… a more define lips + jaw would be nice.

Good comments! Let me refine it. Thanks!

Old man with wrinkles and … cloth!!
