I tried my hands at Rhino 3D, and created well, lol…but when i imported it into Zbrush, and divided it, i got this…anyone know why?
your normals are flipped?!
I’ve had similar things like that! Along with meshes that split apart. Aurick (Super Moderator) gave me a couple suggestions, and they worked for me;

Many parametric objects have a seam (which you can see if you rotate the model while Transform>Dots is active). Polymesh objects use a different subdivision routine than parametric objects do. This routine causes the mesh to smooth and contract as it’s subdivided, which will cause unwelded edges to pull apart.
There are two things that you can do:
-
Export the parametric object, select the Polymesh3D tool and activate the Weld slider in the Tool>Import options. This will weld the edges when you import the object back into ZBrush.
-
After making the object into a polymesh, press Tool>Geometry>Crease. This will prevent the unwelded edges from pulling apart.
Or select the correct export option in your nurbs modeler
Lemo
your polys arent welded, try agent smiths proposal and set the weld slider to 0,001 before importing and merge to “on”.
thanks guys, i will try all of these…i will get back to ya…
Thanks guys, for the sugjestions…all i had to do was create a skin, then i could divide it…
