Object too big

Hey guys Im sorry if this is a beginner question but there is a problem I’m having when I import an object it is really big and I don’t know if there is a better way to scale it down using a method other than the Transpose-Scale (E). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I am trying fit these glasses to a model. The head model fills up the preview screen as so

Do I edit the size as a seperate tool or…?
