Hi all. So I cannot exactly remember how I got to this point in my sculpt since I’m relatively new to the program, however, I was bold enough to mess with the texture of the piece enough to get my sculpt to lose its texture to where I only see grey. Long story short: I was messing around trying to give my sculpt some texture when the 2.5 D kicked in and I could no longer draw on my sculpt. After that whole fiasco, under the texture tab, I tried to clear the layer and turned the central depth off, filled the layer, then copied my current sculpt as a tool, cleared the document with CMD + N, and now it shows up with no texture at all. I DID however clear the document again, turned off central depth under the texture tab again, and filled the layer with the basic white color and now I could see my texture and depth. However, every time I reopen the doc the object is still without texture or depth. Does anyone have any idea on how I can reverse this issue or at least copy my sculpt with its texture back? Thanks! Here’s an image of how it’s opening up:
This will happen if “Mrgb” is disabled when you turn “Edit” on. Try clearing the canvas first (Cmd+N), redraw the mesh and enable “Mrgb” first, then turn on “Edit”.
