I used the free troll mesh here at ZBrush as a base and created a modified creature. I was careful not to mess up the base mesh. I imported it as an object into Poser then took it into setup room and rigged it to move. The issue is that at certain points the seams separate when I move an arm or a leg. How or can I fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated.
The best technique to get a mesh into Poser is:
after modelling, open obj in UV Mapper and assign Groups to the parts you want to be poseable ‘actors’, and ‘Materials’ to the material zones
load the mapped obj in Phi Builder and arrange the rotation settings for each actor and the hierarchy
load the phi file in Poser (File > Create Hier)
What you’ll get is a ready-rigged model (although you’ll have to tweak all the joint settings) without any breaks in the mesh.
