OBJ to Quads for Hard Surface Models

Hi,
Anyone have a good method to convert an obj that is all triangles to a quad mesh without loosing the intended hard edges?

Someone must be doing this.

My models are basically a motorcycle assembly.

The hard surface models were exported from a CAD system (CREO) as obj’s. CREO only exports triangles in obj format.

I want to get the models into ZBrush and do the final detailing.

I would really like to get a decent quad mesh to work with but I can’t find a good clean way to do it.

Thanks in advance.

I dont know for sure, but I think maybe this would work: just import the obj into Zbrush, then make all your separate hard surface planes different polygroups using zbrush polygroup tools. Then use zremesher with the Keep groups button turned on.
