Need help! Obj from Rhino comes in jagged when imported into ZBrush. How can I fix this?
I’m new to zbrush, so this question might be basic.

I tried welding points and dynameshed it but that didn’t work

Hello @jinnab13 ,

This would probably have to do with how the NURBS geometry in Rhino is being exported or converted into conventional subdivision surface geometry. ZBrush does not support NURBS. It works with subdivision surfaces with either triangular or quad polygons (quads preferred). You my wish to turn to some Rhino resources to determine how to best convert or export the geometry in this form.

Thank you for your reply!

It turned out that I had to move the rhino model geometry to the origin, then export to .stl. The issue seemed to be that some modeling software struggles with geometry that’s far away from the origin
