You have done a great work, will you texture it?

Wow awesome job. The only comment I have is his eyes they seem a little bigger than usual unless if you’re looking for some type of creature. Thanks for sharing.

This is stupendous. Great work!

Nice job. I think the position of tibia on both legs should be a bit higher than fibula.

Hi obbi. I too have been getting into anatomy lately (revisiting from my college days- ) however, I am drawing right now and not sculpting. Love what you have done. Every muscle is well ‘represented’.
But, I have to point out, those calves. I don’t know what it is i.e. are they too large? to high? Or is it the Tibia is too defined? The ankle bone too thick? Or are the thighs not thick enough? Is it just me???

Mr. Legs himself (from yester years- ):

I think the thighs are slightly too short compared to the calves. It gives a weird feeling to the whole figure>
Looks really good except that !!!

Looking very nice so far… but it seems the leg area has some odd proportion going on. Looking forward to the next update!

Wonderfull piece!! congrats for the study!!

Amazing my friend!

You should have a closer look at the anatomy, because a lot of it is wrong.

First of all, you have horizontal striations on the pecs. They follow the direction of the muscles.

The calfs, the need to differ in height and length. Shorter on the outside etc.

The clavicle needs to curve more, and needs to go a little further back. And it’s too pronounced at where that clavicular section of the pecs attach.
A lot of random lumps on the back?

The latissimus attach in the wrong place, they need to attach to the posterior superior illiac spine, and not run vertically along the spine

The ulnar is completely straight?, which… it isn’t.

Back of the legs, biceps femoris, accurate seperation needed. There can be no vertical seperation.

There doesn’t seem to be a teres major…

Sternocleidomastoid wouldn’t be that pronounced unless he was turning his head.

The triceps… You need seperation in the medial head.

Not quite sure about the abdomen. Looks like he has an 8 pack below his ribs. The 2 to abs need to originate just under the pecs

Forearm. With such a heavy muscled guy, there would be a lot more definition. And his extensor carpi radialis longus- and brevis attach to the base of the radius.

And last but not least, his quads the three front heads seem to attach at the base of the knee. The Vastus lateralis need to be higher.

Sorry for the long rant, but that’s a list of things that can be fixed to make it better.
Otherwise it’s a decent model

Dang Mjthehunter, put the BAT away, I think he’s down and out-
Seriously, fantastic tips (I just learned a bunch by going back and viewing this model in comparison to what your pointing out).
Wow, how did I not catch all the random lumps on the back, and the striations represented incorrectly (and everything else you wrote about).
Thanks for coming up here and pointing these things out, I really need to work on training my eyes better-
But, we have to give Obbi kudos for this TRY. At first glance, looks very cool. Heck, alot better than I could ever do in ZBrush-

Oh, did someone say “lumpy Back”?

stubbs_2007_ironman_Awsome BACK.jpg

Wasn’t trying to be a douche about it :b… It just got a little out of hand xD!
But well, glad it was of some use :b…

Haha xD now that’s some lumps. Lovely lady lumps

MJTheHunter, I don’t think your being a “douche” about anything. On the contrary, it’s absolutely fantastic that you came up hear and pointed those things out. How can an artist that is learning/making (re-learning) anatomy do any good studying, if not for a trained artist such as yourself ‘helping out’? No, no, no, as a matter a fact, the day I post something up hear (anatomy or not), I hope you rip into me as well… I would be nothing but thankful my friend as I am sure obbi is as well.

Lady lumps? If that’s a woman… where is my barf bag- (and of course it’s not, it’s a bodybuilder by the name of Joel Stubbs. He has an amazing upper body but his legs suck, but because he injured his knee when he was young).

Another well defined back shot of his (yes, he is known for his back):

Idk what it is but those pecs are throwing me, the sculpt is sound, but where the trap meets the delt it looks odd to me.

Update!
I hope you like it, and thanks a lot for looking!
