NYC area courses???

I am an illustrator aspiring to learn Z-brush. I know nothing of the program other than it yields some beautiful and brilliant results. I’m dying to learn. Does anyone know of anything that can help me find a course to attend in the New York City area??? Thanks in advance.

I do ZBrush training n the NYC area. PM me if you are interested.

I guess I am too much of a noob on the forums here. hehe

digital tutors is a great place to learn ZB4

Just wondering if any of the members are still offering help to new people with Zbrush? I’m in the NY upstate area.

Hello, I am interested in taking classes, I live in New Jersey but it is easy for me to go to New York, my email is rogerjrodriguezn@gmail.com or my number is 5512623337

Wow, I actually started this thread in 2007. Damn time flies. Let me tell you, I wound up taking a continuing ed course at SVA in 2009 for Zbrush. It was a one week class and I learned a lot. But ultimately it didn’t stick. I fell off and lost interest for a while. Until 2013, I somehow got re-ignited by the 3D fire and took that same class again, and it stuck that time. I was able to keep the momentum since. Now I can’t stop using Zbrush. So, if you can find that class being offered at SVA, or anywhere else in NYC, take it. Because outside of having a friend you can visit who can teach you, or just taking virtual online classes, NY doesn’t offer much in way of learning Zbrush. Look into all colleges. I know FIT offered a class pretty recently.

I saw the first post before I saw the date.
I was like whaaa? Dope knows ZB lol.

And to @rogerjrodriguez, I struggled with ZB for the longest time until I purchased a good tutorial and consumed it. That was during the ZB3 era so out of date. But Pixologic has incredible training available for free now. ZClassroom - ZBrush Training from the Source

Matt Thorup’s (Red Beard) training was very good to start with for a beginning level to intermediate. https://gumroad.com/redbeard

ZB is such an intuitive program now. Much easier to get started.
