I have two computers, an old hp pavilion dv7 with a screen resolution of 1440 x 900 and an hp mini which is 1024 x 576. I was just testing the hp mini for a few days and how it handled zbrush ( quite well actually, for such a small and weak computer ) and when I tested zsketch, something strange happened. I usually sculpt a bust and add a zsphere skeleton so that I can zsketch around the zsphere skeleton chain. When I pressed a, to see what the mesh looked like, the resolution on the unified skin was so low that I would have to raise the res to 512 and it was still a little low and I thought it was unusual. I took the file to the large hp laptop and it did the same thing on "that’ file. Then I started another file using the same bust subtool but started a fresh zsphere chain and when I checked the unified skin, the mesh was normal, maybe around 25k polies. So question, does the unified skin have any thing to do with what screen resolution you have? Or maybe what type of computer you have? Does RAM have any thing to do with any thing regarding this?
Note, this does not happen when I only have one zsphere and start zsketching freely. This only happens when I have a subtool on the canvas and zsketch on a zsphere chain. I’m wondering if this has happened to any one else.
