Hello,
I am trying to model a suit for a male character. I am using xNormal to right out the normal maps, but i see these artifacts(?) or some kind of reflections in the collar area. i have been trying to figure this out for about a week now. Have you guys ever had this problem?
In order to create the normal map. all i do is (in xNormal)
- select the High Def Mesh
- select low def mesh
- setup out put file name
- go to Tools tab> Ray distance calculator, then copy the values.
- Generate maps.
I am guessing that the collar of the suit is too close to the mesh, how should i model the suit or a shirt which have collars?
