Nooby with a Keyshot Hunger.

Hi, I’m new to Zbrush 4R7 and absolutely love it!!

I was also thinking about how to have it linked with Keyshot, but I find the information slightly confusing.

This leads me to my question - Am I right in thinking that since I have 4R7 - I should now purchase either of the versions of Keyshot for Zbrush as seen here:

http://store.pixologic.com/Single-User-License/

and also the bridge?

In a nutshell I was thinking of getting Keyshot HD + The Zbrush to Keyshot Bridge [$350] and I’d be all set to use my 4R7 with seamless Keyshot rendering ?

Sorry about the long winded explanations… I ask because confusingly Keyshot as standalone program is almost 800 Quid!

Hi there,

Yes, you need both the Bridge and a version of KeyShot.

So the absolute cheapest method is KeyShot 6 HD for ZBrush at the combined price of $349.

To decide which version of KeyShot is best for you, see: https://www.keyshot.com/product-comparison/ The big difference is that Pro allows animation (such as turntables) while HD is still shots, only. But you can also upgrade from HD to Pro at any time and it won’t cost you more than if you had bought Pro outright.

Excellent, thanks for the speedy response
