look at the image below please.
is it possible to fix/close that hole ?
none of “close holes”(modify topology) operation or “bridge”(zmodeler) working for this.
(thanks)
Zmodeler can be unresponsive but not “close holes” in modify topology. Could be that you don’t have a hole and that face is flipped?
Also double check that the model is not partially hidden, not only because it could be a hidden face but also because Zmodeler becomes problematic with hidden geometry even that is not the part hidden. You could use bridge and the resulting operation could not be visible, even if the hidden area is in the opposite place of the geometry.
no. there is no hidden faces. this hole I made. was a triangular faces and deleted to generate it as quad.
but I thought bridge may work. but it doesnt. than I though close hole may work. but no. it doesnt work.
so I sent to maya, closed that hole and reback to zbrush again.
zmodeler is best polymodeler I ever use. but have many bugs. eg. attempting to use “spine edge” causes zbrush crash.
btw thanks for response
I agree zmodeler is both good and buggy. Sometimes it is needed to repeat lots of times the same action to get any effect or it is not possible to select edges or faces at all, specially when dealing with small clusters of faces.
