Can you show us the break down for the gun. How you went about building it. was it done entirely in Z?

incredible illustration. The visual narrative is very powerful. Multiple layers of meaning, exploring the composition reveals more and more of the story. My favorite kind of illustration. Well done, my friend. :+1: :+1:

Love it! Nice details and texturing! 5*

this is really great piece!! can feel the characters inner struggle. did you say this was a zbrush render cause thats amazing how well the lighting and shading looks. can you give us a breakdown of how you put it all together that would be great.

fantastic job man

Fantastic work! Love the texturing especially on background details and accessories
the gun’s amazing.
I dont get the hole in man’s hand and face though maybe thats just me not getting the reference tho.
I also feel the character is a notch lower quality than rest of elements of this piece but thats just me, 5* either way :smiley:

Wow, amazing work. I love the subdued colors and magnificent details. Is the background also made in ZBrush or is it photoshop?

Amazing work ! :slight_smile: I love it… very inspiring :slight_smile:

5 stars:+1:

Amazing man!
I was waiting for it ! ahaha :smiley:

C ya!

Nice again !

thanks all :slight_smile:

crossbones -> for the gun I use Sebcesoir technic… so rough basemesh with bevels for the outline and projections.

blkspd3 -> thanks, and every objects are part of the story :slight_smile:

Bas Mazur -> thanks a lot :slight_smile:

ChronoArt -> thanks, nop just colour shots are from Z, for the final picture i used Finaltoon, i just wanted to experiment a fast way to make a stylised illustration. It took me less than a minute to render that picture in 300 dpi.

tokaru -> thanks a lot

Darukin -> thanks again, to add some precisions, I choose Chrismas because it’s mainly a family day… so the desperate is much higher for him, especially when you have to be faced of all your deamons every day. And so holes mean deep regrets and also a kind of all the victims he killed consume slowy his soul… kind of…

bezoetdebie, Vadonia -> thanks :slight_smile: all in Z

grassetti -> thanks for the comment, your work is also amazing !

That’s rather depressing :frowning: Great job Cedric! :+1:

Who delated my post, and why ?;/
Anyway thats an old work, i remember you posting it so long time ago somewhere, nice to see you finished it :stuck_out_tongue:
But i dont like the render to much, especialy his hands and hat stound out too much and look fake ;/ I really like the texturing, would be cool to see a better render of this ;d

are all these polypainted or unwrapped and textured outside of zbrush??

Just curious in the workflow for this picture
