If you check out the video you can see a neat little compositing trick i did in the beginning. When i filmed it i waited to do it on a day with a pure Blue Sky. I used the sky has a blue screen then in After Effects I keyed out the blue and put in some footage of time laspe clouds. I also used the same footage to past on top of it so that i could fade in. The rest was created in Premiere.

I have the chance to go to Japan to compete in the Ninja Warrior competition. But i need your help to get there! This is one of my dreams please help me out! All you have to do is go to this page and vote. Please help a fellow 3D Artist!!

this is the first I’ve ever heard of the show… it looks like alot of fun… I would love to try an obstacle course like that, just to see how I would do… I’ve always considered myself a well-balanced athlete, but I can tell right now that I would need to do alot of training for upper body strength and lose a little weight for all that climbing… and work on those log walking moves

Edit: Just checked out your video… very cool that you’ve been into parkour for that long… I only discovered it 2 or 3 years ago, after I’d already been married and had a kid… it’s something I’ve wished I could get into ever since

Ya i’ve been doing it for 6 years, one of the old vets in the US =) You should get into it. I know a really good friend of mine who is 35 and he is way better then a lot of the younger kids.

ya it’s not age that restrains me… I’m only 24 and still in pretty decent shape (recently left a job moving boxes at FedEx for 3 years – very intense)… it’s time… I’m still a college student with a full time job and a wife and 2 yr old kid… it’s crazy… most days, I get a few minutes here and there to keep up with places like this on the web and that’s it

after I graduate, though, I want to study Aikido with my son and maybe some crazier stuff like parkour

Aikido is a great way to gain coordination, balance, agility and just a general all body workout. I’d recomend it. Then once your conditioned you can break into all kinds of other activites.

They finally updated my video and i’m still tied for third with 3 other people, only the top 3 people get to advance. I appreciate the help guys, tell your friends!

btw, I’m interested in Aikido because I’m a pacifist and I appreciate all the philosophies I’ve read regarding the ‘Way of Harmony’
