Thanks for putting this together! Very powerful tools and worflows you alll have developed for us all!

Thank you Martin for keeping us inspired and lurking for more

Thank you for being so thoughtful and making this tutorial.

I"m always getting worried when software such as this becomes so powerful. Wipe your eyes and Autodesk have their hands on it!

Thanks, looks great

Thanks,very useful!:+1:

Hey Martin, nice!
Can’t wait anymore to use the new tools

Wow! thank you so much for this great tutorial, it’s amazing that in less than 8 minutes we can create something really cool! :+1:

Edit: I just have an excelent afternoon playing with this modeling technique, now i know how to make so finer edges and cool sketches really fast  once again thanks!.

Thank you!

BUT can someone tell me, I am missing it I think, how to isolate polygroups? Is it using masking? Which palette and how do i select the polygroup i am going to isolate. I have made polygroups, used the edgeloop and masking of polygroup areas but havent figured out how to hide all other polygroups? Can someone point me to which palette to do that? I am sure it is simple but i havent gotten it down yet.

Its going by so quick in the video and no one mentions it in the video or i missed it. Thanks for answering a simple question in advance if you guys can!

I think i found my answer in the Tips and Tricks section…will have to try it.
Masking by Polygroups

Some videos show the new ZBrush feature where polygroups can be used to mask your models. This is a dynamic feature, which means that it’s found in the Brush>Auto Masking menu rather than the Tool>Masking menu. (The latter menu is for persistant masking – in other words, masks that actually appear on the model.)

That is correct Masking by Polygroups is what you need. Just watch this video:

Hi Martin,

Thanks for this amazing tutorial. It was my one of the first tutorials and It went so quickly that I did not chance to catch any important information. After watching some basic tutorials I have finally followed by this video. I have created Poly Groups and can work on them separately.

I cannot however put materials on them. When I try to choose any material to “paint” with the whole object is automatically covered by chosen material. What did you set/change in this object to cover the poly groups with different materials ?

Thanks =)

EDIT:
I have just found it. It was silly overlooking … I did not assign any material to the object from Color->FillObject with MRgb set on. I thought it would be enough just to choose material from material menu and material would be on the object automatically. Well, spent a lot of time looking for this but I’ve found it…

Are these ZClassroom videos available to download somewhere or is it just the videos on the page?

When are the last 3 videos going to be posted?

I check for those last 3 all the time… I keep thinking its because they have zbrush 4 features.
