Finaly i did it it took me 5 houres to model this head so what do you think about my model ??1 :smiley:

He looks very good, missing some shadows in the mouth but otherwise cool modelling. Keep it up :+1:

You might want to try to model the ears from seperate 3dspheres, you get more polygons to work with that way. Thats not to say I don’t like the ears on that guy, they fit him perfectly.

your model looks good and noticing your post count , this has to be one of your first which makes it even better.

maybe a few tips for your next works :
-Maybe you could give the horns another texture , dark colored close to the head => turn to white when getting further away from the head. Also use a second material for your horns to create more contrast.

  • the eyes look a bit milky , did you change the ToyPlastic material ? , if they are on a seperate layer , use the single layer brush with a low rgb setting to paint some black on the eyes around the eyelids.
  • eyebrows : select you last layer and push the Bake button in the Layer panel , then select the fibre brush tool , lower density a bit , use ZADD off and RGB On , brush the eyebrows , baking your image before using the fibre brush gives better results most of the time.
    -create a model for his teeth with the ring3d tool , Initialized with a coverage of 180 instead of 360) , there should be a tutorial about this somewhere , I’ll check it out later.
    -Experiment a lot with light and material settings , they can really improve an image.
    -Render with Best render , enable almost every icon , except the fog unless you need it. In the render menu check out the antialiasing submenu , Supersampling can improve the quality of an image , but longer render times.
    -In lights panel , select an active light , go to submenu shadow , increase the ray size to 9 (rendering doesnt take too long , this setting can really make a render take ages)
    also check the Shadow option.
    -You can use the single layer brush with only Zadd or Zsub On (Zsize not too high 1-5) and select an alpha to create bumps on the head , or scarrs , …

I don’t think Satan would want you to get the idea that he practices good dental hygiene.
